Topics in Monetary Economics and Macroeconomics

ECONOMICS 586C

This course consists of three topics: mathematics of dynamical systems; lifecycle models of overlapping generations with applications to monetary and fiscal policy; and an exchange of ideas about interesting research topics. The syllabus contains details about the first two topics. The third topic is a free-for-all search for ideas that will involve all participants.
