    Professor Parks' fields of interest are finance, welfare economics, general equilibrium theory, and econometrics.

    Parks joined Washington University in 1971. He is the author of 'An Impossibility Theorem for Fixed Preferences: A Dictatorial Bergson-Samuelson Welfare Function,' Review of Economic Studies, 1976, Existence of Voting Market Equilibria' (with A. Denzau), Journal of Economic Theory, 1983, and 'Pareto Irrelevant Externalities,' Journal of Economic Theory, 1991. Since 1993, he has operated the Economics Working Paper Archive and given over 70 lectures on internet resources.
