    Grace Johnson joins the Department of Economics as a Lecturer in Economics, and currently serves as the Associate Director of Graduate Studies for Master's Program in Economics.

    Johnson began teaching in the department in 2016. She enjoys instructing students in a diverse range of economics and finance courses and working with them as an adviser and mentor. To enhance her teaching and mentoring experience, she has actively collaborated with colleagues from various disciplines in the business field and published her work in journals such as Journal of Contemporary Accounting & Economics, International Journal of Business and Systems Research, Research in International Business and Finance, and International Journal of Law and Management.

    Johnson received her Ph.D. in Economics and M.S. in Quantitative Financial Economics from Oklahoma State University. She taught at Oklahoma State University-Tulsa, Lindenwood University, and Saint Louis University prior to joining Washington University in St. Louis. She also spent several years in the private sector working in international business. Additionally, she serves on the board of Master’s Program Management Committee in the Department of Economics, Teaching, Research, and Practice (TRaP) Faculty Pay Equity Committee, and Association for Women Faculty (AWF) at Washington University in St. Louis.
