The Macroeconomics of Labor Markets

ECONOMICS 8420

This is a graduate level course in macro labor economics. The course consists of two main parts. In the first part, we will focus on the labor supply decisions of households. In the second part, we will focus on search and matching in frictional labor markets. Throughout we will emphasize how to solve these models numerically. Prerequisites: Econ 501, Econ 502, Econ 503, and Econ 504.
