Kenneth Arrow Lecture, October 21 @ 2:30pm

The UEA will be co-sponsoring Nobel Prize Winner Kenneth Arrow along with the Economics Department and the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies on Friday October 21st at 2:30 in the Bryan Cave Courtroom. His lecture will discuss "The Economics of New Antimalarial Drugs" and follows Desoto's speech concerning issues in development economics.

UEA Meeting, October 12 @ 5pm

The UEA is organizing a lecture with Nobel Prize winner Kenneth Arrow! We are meeting on October 12 at 5pm in Eliot 200B to discuss ways to make this lecture a success and also gauge interest for other UEA events in the future including a special UEA meeting with economist speaker Russ Roberts. I hope all of you can attend the meeting and want to get involved in planning this big event.
