Did you know that only 35 percent of undergraduate economics majors are women? And that this share has been on a steady decline since peaking in the 1990s? Surprisingly, this trend has occurred despite women making up 56 percent of the college population, and while female representation in other underrepresented areas—like mathematics and business—has improved. This begs the question:
