Hotel Information
Two hotels will be available
for the conference.
is located on the north side of Washington University’s
hilltop campus, next door to the famous Eliot Hall which houses the Department
of Economics in a less elegant fashion than you will be housed. Uncle Marcus highly recommends that you stay at the Knight Center. He himself has
stayed there. He claims that they have
in room internet access, and snack rooms with 24 hour access. Also,
the Knight Center
is very close to the conference venue and the Loop
area of University City.
The rate is $109 per
night. To make reservations, please call
(866) 933-9400 or (314) 933-9400 and ask for the Midwest Math Association
Conference. These rooms will only be held
for the conference until October 1, 2004.

Sheraton
Clayton Plaza

is located at 7730
Bonhomme Avenue in Clayton, MO. It is close to Clayton bars and restaurants
and it does have a shuttle service from the airport. Even so, we strongly recommend the Knight Center
– the Loop has more bars and more
restaurants than Clayton does. The Sheraton
room rate is $99 per night single or double.
We have reserved 30 standard rooms (2 beds) and 20 single rooms per
night (king or queen). Call toll free at
(888) 337-1395 and state that you are with the Midwest Math/Economics
International Conference. To guarantee
this price you must make your reservations before October 5, 2004. There will
be a shuttle from the hotel to the conference sight for the cost of a tip to
the driver. The schedule is to be
determined.
